In meer dan 30 jaar heeft het merk een sterke groei doorgemaakt en is het uitgegroeid tot een erkend merk en een steeds meer gespecialiseerde dierenwinkel. Vandaag de dag is het marktleider in Belgi\u00eb en kent het een sterke groei in Frankrijk. Het onderscheidt zich op de markt door zijn omnichannel winkelervaring, exclusieve producten, diensten en deskundig advies, om te voldoen aan de steeds specifieker wordende behoeften van zijn klanten. De onafhankelijke Belgische keten telt momenteel meer dan 200 winkels in Belgi\u00eb, Luxemburg en Frankrijk.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text-history\">In mei 2022 trad Verlinvest, de Belgische investeringsholding, toe tot het kapitaal van Tom&amp;Co, waarmee het merk de middelen kreeg om zijn groei in Europa te versnellen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"intro-text-history\">In juni 2024 versterkte Tom&amp;Co zijn positie op de Europese markt door de overname van Barq Europe, het moederbedrijf van PharmaPets en Vetostore, de grootste online veterinaire apotheek in Belgi\u00eb, Nederland en Frankrijk.
