EDI Specialist
At Tom&Co, we are looking for an experienced EDI Specialist to ensure reliable, efficient, and compliant electronic exchanges with our suppliers and partners. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and evolving our EDI environment, acting as the link between IT, business teams, external partners, and our EDI service provider.
You will contribute both to operational stability and continuous improvement, in a retail context where data quality and process efficiency are essential
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and improve EDI flows in close collaboration with our external EDI partner.
Take ownership of testing, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of EDI transactions.
Ensure the compliance and reliability of incoming and outgoing electronic messages (orders, invoices, deliveries, etc.).
Analyze business needs and translate them into robust and scalable EDI solutions.
Serve as the point of contact for internal teams and external partners regarding EDI topics.
Contribute to the optimization of business processes related to EDI and ERP integrations.
Monitor existing and emerging legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., e‑invoicing, GS1 standards) and assess their operational impact.
What We're Looking For
Excellent practical knowledge of GS1 standards and their application.
Proven experience with EDI platforms and ERP integrations.
Strong experience in business process and data flow analysis.
Several years of experience in complex, multi‑partner EDI environments.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Professional proficiency in French, Dutch, and English.
A good understanding of or experience with Azure Service Bus is a plus.
Comfortable with EDI mapping tools, XML/XSLT, SQL, and basic programming concepts.
