ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Group Controller, you'll report directly to the CFO and lead the Business Controllers team, consolidating financial data such as budget, cash flow, and balance sheet. You will drive the professionalization and digitalization of reporting, procedures, and performance metrics to support the company’s growth and evolution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the business controlling team to motivate, guide, and ensure high standards are met across the organization.
- Partner with the business on financial processes, P&L, balance sheet, and business development to steer the company toward its strategic goals.
- Develop, automate, and implement performance metrics, including KPIs, dashboards, and decision-making models, to optimize business performance.
- Collect and analyze data from various sources, turning it into actionable insights for accurate financial analyses.
- Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate analytical bookkeeping and reflection of balance sheet items, with a focus on working capital, debt, tax planning, client reporting, intercompany matching, and CAPEX.
- Manage the closing agenda to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, identifying discrepancies and suggesting corrective actions, and analyzing sales performance, net working capital, cash flow, and CAPEX.
YOUR PROFILE
- A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Management is the foundation of your expertise.
- Proven experience in financial analysis or business controlling has honed your skills.
- Strong Excel skills are essential, and knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
- You possess excellent analytical abilities and a solution-driven approach to complex financial challenges.
- Excellent organizational skills allow you to balance strategic priorities with daily operations efficiently.
- You thrive in both collaborative settings and independent work environments.
- You can maintain focus on the details while understanding the broader picture.
- Fluency in Dutch or French, with a good command of the other language, is required, and English proficiency is an asset.
