IT RETAIL APPLICATION SPECIALIST -

Work to improve and/or replace customer-facing IT applications, leading and following up relevant actions towards stability improvements.

Active participation in IT/Business-projects.

Interactions with the technical teams (infrastructure, architecture, security), problem management follow up, root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

You obtain a good understanding of our company & business and can make a functional design of the business processes.

You serve as the intermediate between business and IT(-partners) in your domain.

You can evaluate the business requests, suggest solutions and improvements, and implement and coordinate the changes.

You act as a product owner for our POS solution in the stores.

You are involved in IT/Business-projects, in close collaboration with IT-partners.

You are responsible for documenting the retail business processes.

You hold a master’s degree in economics or science, with option of IT, or a bachelor’s degree combined with relevant work experience.

You have several years of relevant experience in the domain of retail.

You have an overall knowledge of retail solutions, ideally back and front office, like POS, ERP, CDP and PIM systems.

You understand the interaction of IT-systems with an eCommerce platform.

You are experienced in project management and/or have project management skills.

You’re proficient in Dutch, French and English.

You understand retail processes, from purchasing to sales and services, including finance

You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can effectively prioritize and carry out tasks in a demanding environment.

You are customer oriented, with excellent communication skills, capable to defend your ideas, but open to listen to others as well.

You’re eager to understand the goals and objectives of the organization and are motivated and focused, with an eye for detail.

You’re eager to learn and you have a huge appetite for innovative technologies and changing trends in the market.

You have a positive and accountable mindset.
