Junior Category Lead e-commerce (Pharmapets)
PharmaPets, a growing player within the Tom&Co group, is looking for a dynamic Junior Category Lead for our offices in Waregem. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage and optimize the e-commerce assortment, contributing to the commercial success of PharmaPets. You will collaborate closely with various departments such as Marketing, Logistics, and Finance. Are you ready to play a key role in the further expansion of our e-commerce activities? WHO WE ARE
PharmaPets is an online store specializing in high-quality pet food and para-pharmacy products for pets. This is complemented by an extensive range of services provided by our veterinarians and specialists. PharmaPets delivers its products in the Benelux and France.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take ownership of monitoring and optimizing the webshop assortment, including pricing, promotional plans, and adding new products or brands.
- Use sales data and market insights to evaluate the assortment, improve performance, and identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure efficient sales reporting.
- Hold commercial responsibility for negotiating purchase prices and contract terms with suppliers and veterinary brands.
- Ensure accurate product information and optimize online merchandising in collaboration with colleagues from Marketing, Logistics, and Finance to improve operational processes.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the commercial plan for PharmaPets, with a special focus on the veterinary image of the webshop.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (economics, marketing, or e-commerce) or prior experience in e-commerce or category management.
- 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce, FMCG, or retail, with an affinity for data analysis and product optimization.
- Familiarity with Excel and digital tools, with experience in using data to monitor sales performance and improve strategies.
- A commercial mindset with a customer-oriented focus.
- Hands-on mentality.
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of the pet industry is a plus, but not required.
